Do you Grocery Shop with your kids or on your own

I bring all the kids with me but I sometimes drop my younger two off in play land at Fred Mayer's while shopping. They come with me to Costco.

It varies. Sometimes we go as a family: me, dh, and 7 kids. I personally like to go with the help of my 14 yr old dd and leave everyone else at home. MY almost 18 yr old dd likes to go with me but if she goes we have to take 2 yr old dd with us and she REFUSES to sit in a buggy and it makes me CRAZY!!! I don't like taking all of the kids and especially don't like it if we are going to Wal-Mart because it then turns into a "I want" by all of them. I am the "no man" and dh is the "yes man" so I prefer if he stays at home too. I refuse to buy candy and Coke for everyone at the register but he is a sucker and will waste money on it. Why in the heck do I want to spend $1.50+ on a single drink when I can buy a 2 liter for less? I can go shopping with my list and my coupons and get what I need and get out without spending unnecessarily.

We go out together as a family. But I will pick up a few things needed for that night or next night with just my son.

varies, sometimes while they're in school, sometimes they're with me after school. We eat a lot that is fresh and limit prepackaged processed foods, so we go as often as 2-3 times a week. DH also works out of town, so it also varies with having one stay home while the other runs to the store etc.

Definitely varies here. Sometimes we all go, sometimes I go alone, sometimes DH goes alone, sometimes one of us will take a kid while the other stays home with the other kid, sometimes one of us will take both kids... sometimes we just don't go and make a challenge out of living out the the freezer and pantry for a couple days...

I voted 'as a family'. We all go to Costco and Whole Foods every 2 weeks. Anything we need in between could be any combination. I like to take my 2 year olds even on a 2-item kind of trip b/c they get a cookie from the bakery!

It varies. I try to go alone or with as few kids as possible. Just my preference. I do take all of them at least 1x a month. Dh never goes.

99% of the time it's just me & the kids on a weekday morning while DH is at work.

Just me. DD is my only and she is at a stage where she tries to climb out of the cart the whole time and gets bored and generally terribly behaved after about 20 minutes. I don't blame her, I hate grocery shopping too.
