I would have been sad, too, but of course I would have allowed it. I think the cut looks perfectly lovely on her, she made a good choice.

Super cute! I would let my girls do that in a heart beat. Dd1 has taken to chewing her hair lately and I almost wish she'd do something like that. Instead she has super long hair with weird chunks out of it but she is adament she doesn't want to cut her hair.

It's not my hair so I don't feel it is my decision once they are old enough to voice their opinion.

She looks adorable!!! To answer you question . No I would not allow DD to cut her hair that short as her hair is baby fine as wispy . She has no body to her hair so it would just lay flat to her head.

She is adorable.

I am not sure though. My first haircut was when I was 12 and I was allowed a small trim and that was it.

Hair was a big deal growing up and my father didn't speak to me for a day after that trim or a week after I cut it all off in high school.

So I don't think I want to let hair be that big of a deal with DD. but I know it would make me so sad.
