Wool
I have tried doing wool cover on my son and he really doesn't like it! He is hot natured so I'm wondering if it's too hot for him! How do you mamas put wool on your babies during the summer? Wool is so cute so I'm disappointed my son doesn't want anything to do with it.

Re: Wool
We always used wool on our kids. How old is your DS? It may just be that he dislikes it because he isn't used to it.

Re: Wool
Wool is temperature regulating, and breathes really well, we use it a lot in the summer too and found it to be much cooler than PUL covers.

Re: Wool
We use it all year round, cool in the summer (even in high heat and humidity), warm in the winter. What type of wool is it b/c some are scratchier than others.. We love gaia, bfl, cestari, MMW, BBR.

Re: Wool
Wool covers never bothered my LO's until the were close to being PLed. And then for some reason they didn't like them. Looking back the one that had the most difficult time has bad allergies that started to surface around that time. He never broke out, but just boycotted wool. They did find when younger in the summer because I didn't use anything to long and they were just as breathable as PUL covers or some shorts. But, my kids wear jeans all summer

Re: Wool
Wool is cooler than PUL covers. I doubt heat is the issue. It could be he isn't used to them or he could have an allergy to wool. A true allergy to wool I understand isn't common but it does happen.

Re: Wool
I definitely think its cooler than pul, we use it all summer. I do tend to try to use thinner wool during day in warm weather...

What is under your wool? It seemed my LO wasn't comfortable in wool, he was sleeping poorly, very restless. Turned out what bothered him was too much bulk under the wool. Got some trimmer fitteds and problem solved
