We love home ferments
We make sauerkraut occasionally (just finished making a nice batch) as well as lactofermented dill pickles. I also make homemade milk kefir and keep a sourdough culture brewing for baking. Yummy, healthy stuff!

I make water kefir but am wanting to start with milk kefir as well.
I dropped $$ on a couple Pickl-it jars, but now I think I'll just go with plain Fidos. What do you use? |

How long does it keep for in the fridge? I had some store-bought that I wasn't sure how long to keep. I wonder how long home-made lasts.
