What to register for?!
Going to register in a bit
Most likely just Target but maybe Babies R Us. This is our first. Suggestions? Favorites? Can't live without's? I have a crib, chest of drawers, and changing table. |

Cloth diapers! Hehe!
Really newborns don't need much. I'd register for a boppy, an ergo, onesies, nail kit, shampoo/wash, breast pump if you will be working and nursing, a few blankets, baby bathtub, high chair, car seat, stroller, baby proofing items.. But really what I consider a MUST is the ergo, car seat, diapers and onesies and that's about it Things like baby towels I never used but some like

Re: What to register for?!
Newborns are pretty easy so don't just concentrate on "newborn" items. Branch out in to the whole first year and include feeding, and underclothes.

I wish I had registered for more pumping supplies, like flanges, bags and membranes. But I'm a WOHM, so I need that stuff. After babe was born I bought a prince lion heart brand bath tub for him and I highly recommend it. Ooh and I stupidly registered for the tall 8oz bottles, though babe has never drank more than 4oz in a sitting in a year. Wish I had chosen the smaller bottles. Also, we got about 6 baby blankets from the hospital and I liked those better than the expensive ones we were gifted. So I wouldn't register for blankets.

I loved A&A bamboo blankets. They are perfect for swaddling.
Also things like gripe water, teething gel, nose drops, teething tablets etc are great. You'll need it all before you know it! Size up for clothing. They grow FAST and you'll be left with a ton of barely worn newborn items.

Car seat and stroller
Glider/rocker Swing Breast pump if you will be bfing (even if you SAH it's nice to have a little stash so you can leave baby with a sitter eventually!) Don't register for clothes, people always give you a ton of clothes!

The only things I consider nessessities for newborns are clothes, diapers, good swaddle blankes and a baby sling. Culd be a Mei tai, ring sling, ergo whatever. That would be the top of my list!
