After birth #5, I used depends for 2 days and was in pantiliners on day 3. Red raspberry leaf is an amazing uterine tonic!

Re: PP Bleeding...
I loved my cloth pads last time around! I have flannel topped and bamboo velour topped. Both were good.

Re: PP Bleeding...
OK, I guess the ones they gave me weren't meshy, but probably similar.
I like the dark towel idea.

Re: PP Bleeding...
It's my first time around so no suggestions really. Once I'm home from the hospital I'm doing cloth (i added to the heavy end of my pad collection over the holiday sales.) I dispise sposie pads... I just find them so horribly uncomfortable. I'm also one of the lucky ones who saw lightening and shortening of my period using cloth so I'm hopign what ever it is that causes that might also be a benifit for PP bleeding.
Otherwise my uneducated plans include: -Getting a waterproof mattress cover. -Plan to use my darkest sheets posibly even my fleece fitted sheets since they shouldn't absorbe and they're dark colored. (but that will depend on how warn the weather is) -Sleeping in my oldest pajamas I have a few pairs i've been stiching back together because they actually still fit me at the moment but they are littlerally falling apart so if they get stained... it's ok since they're going in the trash anyway.

Re: PP Bleeding...
I usually get the Always Extra Heavy overnight maxi pad w/ wings. They are very big, but work great for those first few days. I used 2 the first few hours pp, then just one @ a time.
I like the Always infinity pads too. I don't do the mama cloth either, b/c I hate the wet feeling..

Re: PP Bleeding...
I use cloth mostly premie prefolds, Or all cotton sposies. The one like always have chemicals in them that make you bleed more and lacking Iron PP is not fun. I also ues a wool army blanket under my sheets to help with leaks. My boobs leak a TON the first couple weeks so this helps a lot.

Re: PP Bleeding...
I don't remember it being too bad with DS, and I use a cup and cloth liners for AF so I hate to invest in mama cloth for just a short time. I think I'm going to just get the overnight pads and see how that goes. I'll probably just wear old sweatpants the first couple days anyways just incase.

I've been considering the depends...
![]() Last time I used the large overnight pads - I don't recall any leaks, but it's hard to say. I loved the hospital pads and panties and took everything in my room when we left. I do hate pads of any kind though. Ugh.

Re: PP Bleeding...
I got a deal on extra long overnight Always infinity. I love how pretty and functional CDs are, but that is NOT what I'm looking for pp. I want to throw that red sea away and NEVER see it again!
