I don't remember it being that bad. There was certainly no leaking or what have you.
I just used regular pads and since I had a csection, I used tampons after a couple weeks too. I did buy huge undies because mine rode exactly where my scar was and that just wasn't an option.

I just use disposable pads for pp bleeding. I like having the overnight ones to use all the time for the first few days, then normal ones for days and those for nights still.
They're not my favorite, but they do the job.
