What Do You Wear in the Hospital?

I can't decide if I want to buy a thin-material robe or not for the hospital? I figured it might be convenient for nursing. What do you think? What did you wear in the hospital?

I had a cheap 'granny' robe that zipped up in the front. That was handy for nursing and if it got wrecked from ppbleeding I didn't care cause it was ugly and cheap...

It didnt get wrecked and I still use it to slob around in.

It was a short style robe, not ankle length, but I had my baby in August.

I had a light weight, short sleeved, knee length robe with a front zipper. It was great. I felt covered & presentable for visitors. It was easy to bf in. It was nice to have & I'll definately pack it next time.

Nursing cami, sweats, and a long sleeve t-shirt

Maternity t shirts, nursing bra, yoga pants. Other than the nursing bra, it was all stuff I didn't care if it got ruined.

I just used 2 of the hospital gowns one put on right and one backwards like a robe.

I just wore the hospital gown. They had special ones that snapped off at the shoulders for nursing. (Not bum hanging out, tied in the back lol).

I wore the gown until baby came & because of troubles I had I was there 8 days so I wore gowns & a thin knee length robe that snapped.

I think the 2 gown trick is really good. With my last I birthed at the birthing center (a wing off the hospital) and wore a maxi style dress.
