HBB, no latch question
We currently have a Nauti for my 5 year old, she is petite and harnessed with no problems and I plan to keep her that way for now.
We have a 2001 vehicle with no latch, but anchor to the back and get a super secure fit with the belts. The question is, when I want to switch to the HBB on the Nauti and have her use the seatbelt, does the seat stay secure enough without being latched in and only the top anchor? We are a one car family and hoping this car will last another couple years till DS is out of preschool. |

Re: HBB, no latch question
Yes. Most boosters do not latch. Latch is a convenience feature - without it you will need to buckle the seat in when not in use to prevent it becoming a projectile in a crash.

Re: HBB, no latch question
. When you switch to booster mode, it's the seatbelt restraining your child. The booster just help to position the seat belt so it will be a good fit.

Re: HBB, no latch question
Thanks so much! After so many years of strapping those suckers in, it seems strange to let the seatbe free.
