My sanity is gone

I have started babysitting, going to have two extra kids 3-4 days week. They are pretty good kids, listen really well but when they get together with my kids, everyone is hyper and the toy room gets trashed. Combine that with a severe lack of sleep and normal mommy stuff, my nerves are fried.....I need time to unwind and until Saturday....that is not happening. Just in case I go crazy before then....you know why.

Can I join you? I only have my three kids but the youngest likes to stay up until 2-3am and then nurses the rest of the night.

This is EXACTLY what went on here the last two days, with my two and their cousin. I finally told them that they had to ask me to play with anything, anything at all, so that I could make sure that the last thing they played with was properly put away before they made a huge mess with something else. It actually worked really well and I'm going to do that from now on when kids come over!

Anyway, I hope you get some sleep tonight at least!

Today has been slightly calmer then yesterday but my house is still trashed and I do not like it one bit.

Ugh! Since I started doing daycare it's been crazy trying to stay on top of household stuff. I get and keep the common areas clean because I "have to" but then I totally slack on laundry and areas you can't see! LOL I need to get a better routine. Once everyone is healthy again I need to get back into a routine!
