Need birthday present help for a four year old boy
Whose grandparents have plenty of money and buy him lots of stuff already. He loves baseball, but has pretty much everything he could use. They go to lots of games and have season tickets right behind home plate, so any tickets we would buy would be chopped liver compared to that.
help.

Re: Need birthday present help for a four year old boy
My DS1 is going to be 4 in a couple months, but I'm not sure how much that helps because I think, by this age, there aren't a lot of gifts/toys that *all* four year old like -- they've really developed their own personalities and likes/dislikes by now.
That said, I have two categories of go-to gifts for kids who already have a ton of stuff (1) "consumable" sort of stuff, like play dough, art projects, bubbles, stickers, etc... I don't know if that would work for this kid (although I have to say, my DS is really active but he will sit an play with sticker books endlessly). Anyway, (2) is gift certificates to kid places, like the zoo, children's museums, indoor place spaces (we love gift cards to those indoor bounce house places!). Maybe, in your case, a gc to one of those indoor sports places with batting cages?
