I think potatoes just keep well here. I usually have them last a month or more.

Good job! Any tips? I have started putting potatoes in paper grocery bags, inside my pantry. I can keeo them a good couple months this way. Also, I just cut sprouts off, and if they are starting to go beyond their prime I use them for mashed potatoes or in soups.

I do the same with my potatoes as well as my apples. I freeze bananas and strawberries when they begin to go bad. I don't really have any other tips that you won't find on every couponing site ever. I got a TON of free range chicken this month because it was 99 cents a pound at sprouts, I also got some porkchops for 1.99 a pound at homeland. I look for sales and try to match up coupons. My homeland will double coupons under $1 so that helps. Oh, and my dollar tree is awesome for certain items. I'm gonna check with homeland soon to see if they ever mark down meat that is about to go bad.
