Saggy diaper? Wing droop?

Dd is a new walker and I've noticed her diapers are sagging in the middle where the Velcro tabs meet. She is super skinny, so the snap diapers with 2 parallel rows (flip, BGE) end up with wing droop.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? The diapers with one row of snaps widely spaced (thirsties) seem not to have this problem. Is it worth converting all my Velcro thirsties? Or getting rid of the elementals, whichever seem to work despite drooping?

Eta.
Ok. We get droop and sagging too. With flips they fit better if I snap them down to a smaller rise. They would fit fully unsnapped but I still snap them down one, then when I'm fastening them I make sure to pull up the sides really high while I snap. Does that make any sense?

I also find the snap thirsties fit better, but I don't always love double gussets.

What are you using under them?

I can't get the flips on if I go down in rise. We are using the old style organic inserts on the flips, and prefolds or flats in the thirsties pockets. Maybe I can try the thirsties inserts...maybe they are less bulky than the flats?

I had some of the duo inserts, I didn't like them because they never laid flat, wonky sewing or something. They were a bit bulkier than a large pad folded gmd flat.

I had 5 thirsties that were brand new but had poopy aplix that thirsties replaced. Anyhow, dh and I converted them to snaps last night. I'm super happy with them, but they are smalls and my 8wk old isn't waking anywhere. All this to say that it was fairly easy (and you're crafty) so you should give it a try on one and see if you like them. I will say that unless you add to the tabs (which we didn't) they will be a little more snug then normal. Hth!
