I had mine for over 2 years, constant bleeding for the first 5 Mons then I had regular periods ever after. The side effects were minimal other than the bleeding. After yr 2 on it I started ovulating. My Dr told me to have it taken out after I developed an issue with blood clotts.

It's been almost a month and I'm having my first period. It has been normal, so far.

I'm going to have mine removed :/ I've had it for over a year and have bled basically the ENTIRE year! I hate it except for the fact that I don't have to remember a pill everyday.
