Re: What percentage do you CD?

No sposies ever here, for DS or DD so far. I used flip disposable inserts on rare occasion (<2 packages) for DS when we were having issues getting diapers clean.

We use flats, prefolds, BG organics, and a variety of covers. Night is usually flip organics, they are just too easy. With DS I used a lot more wool at night, over doubled flats.

100% for dd3 and sposie pull ups at night for dd2. She will NOT wear any kind of cloth diaper at this point so I am ok with it.

We are using flats and flats in pockets right now. When Im not using flats Im using pfs and sometimes MF inserts in stay dry socks laid in covers like the Flip.

100% during the day and sposies at night. We use sized fitteds and wool mostly. We use AIO's when we go out of the house.

Re: What percentage do you CD?

I guess I'm the black sheep at 0-35%. DH is the stay at home parent and doesn't like the flats/pf and covers. Before our pockets/aios gave up the ghost, I'd say we where at 80%. Since they have fought the good fight and it's time for them to be retired, I use the flats/covers when I'm home, which isn't much because she's either just laid down for a nap between my clients or just gone to bed when I'm done w/ my last client for the day. Most CD wearing happens on the Saturday because its my only full day off.

Re: What percentage do you CD?

My DD just potty trained for day, but we were about 90% before then.

Re: What percentage do you CD?

I said 85-95%. When we are home, she is in cloth until bedtime. She uses one disposable overnight, but that was after weeks of trying combinations of cloth and getting sick of cleaning up a wet kid every morning! If we are going to be out all day (usually once every 2 weeks, shopping day), I will use disposables. But for shorter trips and going to visit family, I bring cloth. We use fitteds and wool, and I usually use a fleece cover under the wool if we are going out. We have a few pockets too but its mostly fitteds!

I'd say close to 95% cloth. We use cloth at night and on outings now. The only time I use sposies is when I'm treating a bad rash. Unfortunately DS is super sensitive, so that happens about once or twice a month. He's usually only in sposies for one day, so averaging two days every thirty gives us about 6-7% of the time in sposies. I'll say 95% cloth to err on the side of caution.

I will admit to taking breaks from cloth if I am very, very sick, or if DS has a stomach virus or something and turns into a poop machine. Thankfully that happens rarely, once a year maybe, so I figure it's statistically insignificant (yep I'm a huge nerd).

Re: What percentage do you CD?

We were previously a 100% cloth family day and night for many years. When #5 was born life got hectic and we used disposables for a bit when he was first born, then we went to 100% cloth until he turned 1. Since then he's had skin issues and been probably 50% in cloth. I just bought him an inexpensive new stash and we are starting over (he's 18mo) and I plan to go 100% including nights if we can. I really truly hate disposables and I am so sick of using them.
