Does wool wash REALLY clean woolies?

For example-if you only wash wool in wool wash (and by the directions on the package) is your wool truly clean?

I've received MANY FSOT woolens & upon washing (I always wash before use, even if they are sent to me as being "clean) found them to be disgustingly dirty.

FWIW-my wash routine is:

1. Cold water & Baby Magic shampoo (soak, scrub (with wool wash bar if stained), and agitate)
2. Rinse
3. If really dirty, repeat 1&2
4. Luke-warm water & Naturally Luxe wool wash to soak

I've gotten some pretty dirty fsot & spots woolies too. This is why I always strip wash w/ dawn before I sell.

I use Tide so, yep I'm sure they are pretty clean.

I have gotten some horribly dirty ones off FSOT. I have started machine washing mine in the wool cycle with Method, and adding wool wash to the rinse cycle. Has been working beautifully.

Yup I've gotten some nasty from FSOT. I strip them prior to first use and strip before I sell too

Yes I machine wash mine with Dawn so I am sure they are clean. No I don't think that just soaking in wool wash and lanolin really cleans them if your child wears them as covers. I'm not worried about the urine, it's the general toddler dirt, grime, food and whatever else they pick up that gets in them.
