BG 4.0 or Flips w/ Stay Dry Inserts...which would you pick??

Which one you would pick and why? I'm debating on whether or not to keep my BG pockets or sell them and get some more Flips covers and some stay dry inserts for them. I'd love some opinions!!

I love both but if I had to pick just one I'd lean slightly toward flips because the covers can be reused and you don't have to stuff pockets.

I know some people see a slight difference in fit between the two, but they fit my DD the same so once its on I don't notice a difference at all.

I love my BGs because I stuff with prefolds or flats. They're easy to clean and stay dry

I have noticed that the Flips are slightly bigger. I am on the second rise snaps on the 4.0's and the first on the Flips for my 10 month old, so I could potentially get more use out of the Flips, too. Are the Flips inserts the same as the BG, except for the layer of suedecloth on top? Are they about the same thickness, etc?

They're the same thickness and length but instead of the snap down sizing they have sewn lines that indicates the size changes and you fold it over and stick it under the flaps. I love them.

Since they don't snap, do they have issues staying folded or staying in place?

I would choose the 4.0s, I feel like they are easier to put on. The insert in the flips sometimes moves around if baby is squirmy.

I agree. bG 4.0s are great. They last forever, clean up nicely and you can stuff them with anything. I totally understand wanting some variety in your stash but I don't personally care for Flips. I would do Blueberry Coveralls and some prefolds or flats. BB Coveralls will definitely last through potty learning (they're bigger than Flips).
