I get that it's a community - but when a community gets too big, people don't get to know one another. Quick, name the people in your graduating class! I think the rule just encourages members to contribute in a non meaningful way to meet the post quota. But that's just my opinion.

Actually, the members do bond and become online friends, some also meet irl. This is not a place who just wants too meet a post quota, many of us are very active and do feel like we know each other.

this exactly! I have made many wonderful friends, several of whom I have met and keep in contact with outside of this forum.

Ahh, makes sense. I just joined too. I've never been on a forum before so I don't really know what to look for or what I'm supposed to do. It's nice to have a place to go with all kinds of cd questions though.
