How Long Did Your 8lber fit in NB Diapers?

Title says it all

I need to finish DDs stash, trying to decide on if I should do more NB or Smalls. . .my babies are usually 5lbs but its looking promising to get to full term this time

It's been a long time since I've had that small of a baby but I think maybe 2-3 weeks. It wasn't long though even at 8 lbs.

Eta- it depends too how fast/slow your babies grow and how long they are I would think. I have really short fat babies so their nb stage was really short.

mine was a slow grower, still is. She outgrew the absorbancy at 8 weeks but definitely not the size.

Mine was 7lb 12 oz and is now 11 lb at 7 wks. She is long and lean. I just packed away the Bumgenius NB. She is on last snap of simplex and fuzzibunz - probably has 1 wk left. All have held absorbency but are getting too tight. She grew out of lil joeys at 3 wks.

My 7.3lb boy was 10lbs at a month but outgrow absorbency of NB diapers before fit. The only ones that lasted to 12lbs were FB XS. I wished I had bought more smalls and less NB.

my 2 that were newbs in cloth were 8lbs 2oz & 8lbs 7oz. they both fit newborns til about 8wks or so i think. we used a ton of PFs so it made transitioning into a new size easier, imo

My boy is 2 weeks old and already 9lbs! My NB stash fits but it won't be long now before I'll need to put him in bigger diapers. I haven't even started his OS stash yet! Eek!

My DS was 7 lb 14 oz and outgrew absorbancy before fit of his NB dipes. At three weeks I found I was reaching for my OS over my NB's so I switched completely.

My daughter was 6lbs 11oz when she was born. I think we were able to use our true newborn fitteds for about 8 wks... but she was starting to blow out of them after a few weeks. She grew FAST though.

3 of my 4 kiddos were 8lbs at birth and they all wore their nb dipes until about 11-12lbs
