What qualifies something as mardi gra colors? Not sure how strict or how lenient I should be with these!

Carrie- those diapers look great!

Rdesonia- love those pajama pants- we must be on the same wave length...made dd a pair, and plan on making ds2 one this afternoon. I am finding if I make one kid something, I might as well make three...

The bags are still super sad. The ugly one looks fine, and I got the other one to function, but it is not nearly as nice. Will probably use it anyway, as it is going inside another bag. (have a large church bag with all the kids quiet things, but I want each kid to have a smaller bag they can pull out with their stuff from the larger bag). I am not up for trying again too soon, so pajama pants it is!
I like to assembly line things. Cut all at once. Sew the inner seams. Then iron. Then hems & elastic. I find it goes much faster and I get more done.
I was actually really annoyed that Dh asked for a pair AFTER I had finished making DS's. BUT I think DD's dress which was just a way to reduce scrap will make up for it. I had lots of long strips left over from cutting out the pants from about 2" to 9" with a few bigger spots that were 5 yds or so long. I think it's going to be so freaking cute! (I hope it comes out like I picture it in my head. )

I tend to be drawn to more bold, bright prints with crazy colors but I don;t know anything about mardi gra, so who knows!

Yay! So I just go under the other thread and write my goals out? And could I include projects I have done already this month or not?

you can not count any projects you've done prior to signing up...so nothing before today counts

Madi Gras colors to me are bright bold "Carnival" type colors. http://www.costumeexpress.com/Mardi-...879/Theme.aspx
or a more traditional Spanish Madi Gras. (Think before people had to flash stuff for beads. and everyone dressed up like sexy vegas Showgirls )
