Emergency preparedness stash, what do you think?
I'm putting together a small stash of diapers for the car in case of emergency. Not a OMG my kid peed through all her diapers while shopping, but a true emergency. We're stranded somewhere, natural disaster etc. I have 3 kids in diapers, oldest is kind of potty trained, sometimes.
I've got two prefolds I didnt like much, 6 flats, 2 econobum covers, 2 covers i made when i first started sewing that Im not fond of, 3 samples of bum genius detergent, 6 diaper pins, 4 thin small flats for wipes or additional inserts. Any thing else we should add? We do have probably 3 other diapers in the car for regular back ups, and might have my diaper bag with even more diaper changes in it.

Re: Emergency preparedness stash, what do you think?
I'd add a wet bag to keep dirties in. Seems like I always forget 1 so back up would be good anyway. Other than that it looks good! I've always kept a few flats in the car and use them for spills or wet slides at the park or any of the other million uses you can think of for them

Re: Emergency preparedness stash, what do you think?
Funny, I've been working on ours this week too. I have a dozen flats and 6 covers. I need to get a wet bag, some wipes, pins and I never would have thought about detergent!

Re: Emergency preparedness stash, what do you think?
I've been thinking about buying some flats for this purpose, though as something to keep in the house in case of extended power outage or whatever.
