I have some things for sale on CL right now. Prices clearly listed and asking cash only as payment. Yesterday afternoon, I got an email regarding the item when I replied the email address it went to was different than the one on the original email (make sense?). I just realized that I got another email 1 minute after the first this time from the 2nd email address (still following?) but it went to my spam folder. Here's a c/p of that message:

I have had a few replys like this i either block and delete or reply cash only, its a scam.

Scam is to pay for it using paypal and have their "agent" pick it up. Somebody picks up the item and then they contact paypal and claim they never got it. Paypal refunds them because you have no proof of having handed them the item (i.e., DC #) and you lose the item as well as payment. Definite scam - I'd ignore it. On craigslist, I do cash only and person must pick up at time they pay for it.

Thanks everyone! I thought so but this is my first time selling on CL so I didn't know if I was being overly cautious or not.
