Re: What silly thing did you believe when you were a kid?
OMG! I thought this exact same thing except all cats were girls and all dogs were boys and that a cat and a dog had to get married to make more cats and dogs.

Re: What silly thing did you believe when you were a kid?
I thought you could just write checks for things and you'd have the money. I didn't have the concept of having a bank account or that the check took money out of that account, I thought you could just write them for anything. So I'd be all confused when my mom said we didn't have money for something. I remember her explaining it to me one day while we were out running errands, because I had said, "Just write a check for it!" haha

I thought that the charity boxes that you put coins in at cash registers to "help kids" would help me in some way if I put money in it. Like tell me something important or give me something. I was heartbroken when I put my penny in and nothing happened.
I also thought that my grandpa lived on the moon, and could see everything I did, always. I was kind of freaked out about that. It always freaked me out when people would say that my grandpa was watching over me, always with me etc. I thought he was a ghost. |

When I was 9 our dog humped my leg and I called my grandma hysterical thinking I was going to have some freaky mutant human puppies. I thought the government was going to come abduct me and my mutant litter and lock us away. Lol back when 9 year olds still played in the dirt and were oblivious.

I grew up in an only caucasian town, and when I had my first black friend come over she stuck her hand in a bucket of sea shells we were bleaching. I flipped out and started screaming and trying to pull her hand out because I thought it was going to turn her skin white.

When riding in an elevator, I thought magic elves rearranged the floors instead of us moving through different levels.

My cousin told me that if I left a cattail (the plant) behind a tree for 3 days it would turn into whatever animal I want. I wanted a panda so badly!
