Am I being unreasonable???

DH and I were trying to figure out the plan for today. There is quite a bit of stuff we need to do to prepare for a big move coming up in 20 days or less. DS decides he wants to take a walk.

Its 30 degrees outside. In 2 hours it will warm up to 50. I asked (Nicely and not so nicely) that we wait a few hours so it will be warmer. instead of waiting and finding something else to do until then. They left without me.

Was it so much to ask that we wait TWO hours to go?! Am I being completely unreasonable???

umm honestly, i would have done the same thing (the left without you part). WHen I decide to go on a walk its not a requirement that everyone goes with me. If they want to come great, if they don't want to come thats fine too. Will I wait for someone? Maybe. TWO HOURS though? Nope sure wont. Especially if I have other stuff I need to get done as well

I'd probably be annoyed if it happened to me today given my mood. But then I'd realize it's 2 hours of quiet ahhhhh.

I don't think so but my DH wouldn't leave like that. If it's going to warm up we plan accordingly.

Under those circumstances, yes. 30 is no weather for kids to be out walking in. Of course it rarely gets that cold here.

You're being unreasonable and being alone is nice. It doesn't seem like a big deal. Maybe the move has you all wound up.

I don't think anyone is being unreasonable. I don't blame you for wanting to wait until it was warmer, but I don't blame them for deciding to go right away, either.
