NB Simplex why all the fuss??

So building a newborn stash and I have avoided these mainly because I have a larger size one when DD was in diapers and I wasn't that big of a fan. So please tell what is all the fuss about? Almost everyone has a newbie stash that consists of theses and they seem awful pricey for being just cotton. I would love to see some pics if you want to share as well.

Most bulletproof diaper in our NB stash. Love them even now on my chubby 10+ lb girl.

The quality is great. They fit longer than other nb diapers. They wash up great an dry quickly. And as an added bonus, we've been using them for six months and only had one blow-out. I tried no fewer than 7 different brands of nb diapers and these are my favorites hands down.

I bought two for my newbie because everyone raved and I really didn't care for them. I would not buy them again. They felt too plasticky to me especially compared to the super soft fitteds and wool we usually use. Plus they were bulky and did not fit at 7lbs. They were the first newborn diapers I sold. My opinion is very unpopular though!

I wasn't a huge fan, either. Not sure why they are so popular... However, my daughter has already outgrown the lil joeys, bumgenius (my faves) and fuzzibunz. These have another week or two left so they are definitely lasting the longest. They also have a snap-down for the cord (as do lil joeys, but they only lasted 3 weeks for us).

Yup. I wondered the same thing. I got 4 mediums to try on my 2 month old and I hatred them. Luckily I was able to sell them pretty easily. I much preferred the gmd workhorses for the newborn stage.
