Would any one on my friends list in facebook be able to see that i belong to the due in october group? Only asking cause we dont plan on telling family and friends until may or june. There are a few family members that are negative and I would rather be farther a long so I have to hear their opinions, and advice for a much shorter amount of time.

Nope. It's a "Secret Group" meaning that only those who are added to the group can see that the group even exists. I'm also cautious about telling everyone right now, and I'm sure the same goes for the rest of us.
