yes co-sleeping does make a huge difference!!! my husband was on nights when our son was born so he was up with him whenever he was awake at night. he'd just bring him to me when he was hungry. also, if you're bf'ing you don't necessarily have to be awake to breast feed. the baby will fall asleep when full and fall off the boob. this is while laying in bed of course. hope that makes sense. i also didn't wake him up just to feed him or change him. not everyone will agree with that but i just didn't see the need. if he woke up then of course i changed him and fed him.

I second the cosleeping! DS slept in a cosleeper for the first half of the night. When he would wake, id change him, dive back in bed, plop him on the boob while side laying, and I'd go to sleep. He would go to sleep suckling . He was never one to stay awake at night. He only woke for as long as it took to eat .

Cosleeping was so convenient and practical. I saw no point in moving baby out of the room if itd mean less sleep for me lol! DS was moved to his room only when he stopped feeding at night
