Pumping during pregnancy?
Has anyone here done it? I have been EPing for my 14 month old dd since day one after an emergency c section and difficulty nursing. I tried unsuccessfully for 4 months to wean her onto the breast before she started refusing to nurse outright, so I still pump every three hours for her.
She is eating a lot of solid foods now, but still gets a lot of her nutrition from my milk, so I really don't want to wean her just yet, but I found out today that I am most likely pregnant again(3 faint positives on pink dye tests). I'm really excited for this new baby, but also a little concerned that it might be hard to keep my milk supply up through pregnancy since I'm pumping. Any suggestions? Or just experiences? |
