I just started Insanity with DH. Not the same but I can still join in for support.
DH needs to lose quite a bit of weight and although I am not overweight at all (5' 4" and 110 lbs) I am NOT in great shape. We are also working to clean up our diet and as soon as I can afford a juicer I am starting doing the mean green juice for breakfast since my veggie intake could use a boost.

My husband did it. For him, he had MUCH better results when he followed the diet plan too. He only did the diet plan for a couple weeks, but he showed more improvement in those 2 weeks than the other 2.5 months. It's basically a LOT of lean protein, lots of veggies, a little fruit and dairy, and almost no carbs.

Also, I highly recommend keeping the yoga. I thought it was silly at first but I was really impressed with how much it helped DH.

If you've ever watched Tony' s video chats, which I recommend cause he's funny and informative. He preaches hard core on not cutting the yoga. He says it helps so much in overall athletic ability and balance. He gets that question all the time and he always says no, cut a day of something else before you cut the yoga.

Yeah, yoga x was my workout yesterday and I can just say how SORE my core is? I hit some DEEP muscles there, like I don't even get to with the ab ripper video!

Ok, I won't cut yoga! thanks for talking me out of it. I may split it or one of the other excercises up over two days or something like that. I just did the cardio today and I really enjoyed it. I like the kempo stuff a lot.

Yes, he does a mash up or hybrid of insanity, asylum, p90x and P90x2. We have almost all the Beachbody programs and tons more. Right now we are doing Jillian Michael's Body Revolution together.

p90x2 scares me right now. LOL. I think it's going to take 2 or 3 rounds of the first one before I'll even be able to keep my knees off the floor for pushups! How are you doing with body revolution, do you find it as challenging?
