Recommendation on potty chair for big kids

Is there a potty chair that is good for bigger toddlers? My son is 28 months, but I think he is just tall/big (I think he was nearly 38 inches at his two year checkup). I don't know when we'll begin potty training in earnest, but I want to get him a potty seat. I was recently at Ikea - that one is so tiny! I don't think it would be comfortable for him at all. Which ones are bigger that you'd recommend? Is the Bjorn also really little?

(I also will try just a ring on the toilet, since that is what I would prefer, but he has books that all show the little potty on the floor and has expressed interest in using one of those, and while he used to sit on the toilet, he will not do that anymore. )

Baby Bjorn Potty Seat is my recommendation. Check your local Craigslisting- there are a ton in surrounding areas near my home. Babies R Us and Target also sell them so you can see how your big guy fits on them
