gender question from u/s pic

i was told by a friend (who is amazing at understanding/reading u/s pics) to post this b/c she said she doesnt think its a pic of a penis, which the tech told us it was. i was 20 weeks exactly when this was done, just this past monday. let me know what you think

I would have thought that was the cord but I am not an expert by any stretch...both my boys US's looked very different. They were both done at 20 wks as well.

Looks like a boy to me. I think it just may look strange bc his legs aren't in the pic.

It looks to me like a butt shot where he is facing straight down, legs tucked up towards the head so you can't see them.

I'm an US tech! It's a cross section of the hips. The two bright echoes in the middle of the baby are the hip bones. You can see the bladder in between those spots and the echoes at the bottom of the picture are the cord so the arrow is pointing to his man hood. Hope that makes sense.
