Anyone stay 3-4cms for a while?

Okay so I'm not quite 35 weeks yet and I'm already 3cm dilated. At my appt 4 days ago I was 1cm. Do you think it's possible to stay 3cm for a few more weeks? All I have to go off of really is DDs pregnancy. I was 3cm for less than a week before I delivered so that definitely makes me nervous. Hoping to last until 37 weeks!

I have a dear friend that walked around for 3 weeks at 6cm after she had her cerclage removed.

me. usually for 2-3 weeks. I also have a friend who walks around at 6-9 cms. last baby she was 9 1/2 w out knowing it.

I walked around at three cm's from 28 weeks until 41 weeks!

I have walked around 4cm for several weeks even with my first baby. I was 5cm at 39 weeks during my last pregnancy. I have very fast labors though so keep that in mind.

Yep. With my last I walked around at 3cm for 2 weeks and 4cm for a week. Finaly induced and she was born in 1.5 hours from start to finish.

Me too! I was at 5cm for 5 days at one point with DD1. Not cool. But it does make everything go faster in the end.

Personally, no. But I have heard of many mamas who walk around 4-5+ cm and baby doesn't just fall out
Like the op's said, though, just keep in mind that things may go quite quickly once labor starts!

Yep, totally normal. I was 4cm for 2 weeks for DS1 and 4 -5 cm for 3 weeks with DS2...WITH tons of contractions.

Was at a five for four weeks. Constant contractions that just wouldnt get hard enough.
