Re: My Flip Daytime insert review with pics
I finally broke open a box of these... Oh my gosh.. they are so nice, like a thin "night time" organic insert!!! Can't wait to try them.
OP: I posted this on our page. Thanks again.

I have one more thing to add and this could be a deal breaker for some of us. They do not wash up completely symmetrical. I have noticed that a little bit but as I finally pulled them out of a heavy duty been used for diapers diaper wash, I really noticed that. They have finally shrunk to about 14 inch when folded into a pad the short way and 16 inches when folded into a pad the long way and the edges don't immediately line up when folded. It is easy to make it work but then it is slightly wrinkly. This doesn't bother me but I know it will probably bother other people so I just wanted to let everyone know. ![]() Bolded is editing for clarification.

14x16 is the final dimensions? That is a big difference than the 18x30 they mentioned pre-sales!

Re: My Flip Daytime insert review with pics
Sorry dont mean to confuse anyone. I mean when you fold it into a pad. The short wide pad is 14 and the long thinner pad is 16.

Re: My Flip Daytime insert review with pics
Do you think these would be trim enough for when Flips just start to really fit, just past the newborn time period? Like around 10lbs? I'm planning on stashing away an inexpensive baby through toddler CD stash in case I decide to use cloth on ds4 someday, or if we are successful in adding #6 to our family. It would be for part time use (daytime at home only). I'm torn between these or a dozen each of a couple sizes of prefolds for trifolding. I like that I'd only have to store one size for these, but there is the folding aspect and that they may be bulky on a newbie.

the way I fold them is lay them out and then fold the top and bottom down to make the rise I want and then fold into thirds or fourths.
