We're in Wisconsin and mainly use cheap-ish Old Navy winter coats for our kids. Add some thin layers underneath and you should be golden. Also, your DD is probably at the age where she'll only want to be outside for a short time, so I wouldn't worry about anything super heavy.

How old is your daughter? I have a 3 in 1 by Osh Kosh I could ffs to you. It fit my normal 3 year old but also part of her 4s. We have snow gear but the 3 in 1 was fine for day to day.
