Anything I can take to relieve cold symptoms?

Just wondering if there is anything that I can take, drink, eat, whatever that will help me out with cold symptoms and is still safe to take while nursing? I figure I can't do any OTC cold medicines but I was wondering about teas? Anything I should avoid? I did take some Advil earlier for headache...I figured that was ok since they gave me ibuprofen for postpartum pain. I've also been using saline and a cool mist humidifier. I would love any suggestions! TIA

I take motrin and sudafed...the "good" sudafed you have to sign for at the counter. I don't use it often but it works better than anything. I wouldn't take it though if you have a low supply.

I use the 'good' sinus medication as well. I cannot deal with the sinus pressure and pain. If you are nervous babycenter has a list of safe medications while Bf'ing

I did not take any thing that might dry me out but did take Zicam to kill the cold. It worked. I took a losange every two hours, it is zinc, and within 3 days it was gone.
