4yo laughing & copying! Help!

So my "high needs" "demanding" 4yo DS has taken to mocking/repeating things we say & laughing at us when we talk to him about anything he does. What am I supposed to do? I try to stick to an ap/gentle discipline method of parenting, but this is through the roof & I'm at a loss

There have been lots of changes here, including a new baby, FYI

Ignore and don't engage. Separate him if need be, explain he can come out when he can behave.

Yup. Most likely he's doing it because he knows it gets a reaction. Ignore it.
