Anyone get a passport lately??

Like a regular passport book, not card. If so, how long did it take before you received it in the mail??

I know two people who have gotten one recently and they both got them in within 2-3 weeks.

My son just got his first one. Took about 4 weeks..however we are still awaiting the return of his birth certificate and adoption documents. Its been over a week since the passport has come.

We ordered a replacement for DD last month. We submitted the application to the post office on Saturday. We received her birth certificate 2 Mondays (9 days) later and the new passport the day after that (10 days). I remember being amazed at how fast we received everything!

We ordered a renewal for my DD before Christmas and it took about 3-4 weeks. No rush or anything. We were pleasantly surprised.

My wife got hers last October and it took 2 weeks. You can have it expedited for a faster return. Also if you need one ASAP you can look up for passport agencies and you can go there in person and have one in a couple days or even the same day. Closest one to me was in Minneapolis.

DH and I got ours re done in May. It took about three weeks, but we paid for the extra rush on it since we were short on time. They came in about two weeks.
