This is so interesting! My 3 year old DD has a severe adhesion, it completely covers her vaginal opening. (It looks like she was born with no vaginal canal). For now we are doing nothing, but I will definitely keep an eye out for any weird symptoms.

We had an ultrasound of her kidneys, and thank goodness they are not damaged!

I've never had girls, so I'm totally clueless except for my own anatomy, and I'm not in anyway trying to pass blame on you mama (I feel embarrassed even asking because it's probably an obvious answer), but I'm wondering how this isn't easily seen when wiping/diaper changing or during a physical exam by a doc?

Our paediatrician never did a physical exam of my daughter's vaginal area (thinking of getting a new one stat!). She has only used a potty for most of her life, so we only did diapers as a newborn.

It looks like we've all caught the norovirus to boot.
