you can totally put regular pants over a wool soaker. jeans don't work too well, but elastic waist cotton or fleece pants work. just change often & use a good absorbent diaper under the wool. a good under clothing wool soaker is the Loveybums interlock pull ons. there is enough coverage that there is no diaper peaking out the edges to wick onto onsies.

I don't do outfits or sets for DS. We just have a bunch of longies & t shirts both ls & short sleeve.

some of my favorite brands for shirts are: American Apparel (for solids), Zutano, Tea, & Monster Republic. Gap & Old Navy also often have t shirts in little sizes. Also lots of great WAHMs on HC & etsy

here are some pics of my boy in longies / shirt outfits

Nope! As long as you have an adequate diaper for your kiddo's output and an accomodating wool cover(some wools are thicker than others therefore better for heavy wetters) you can put regular clothes over wool soakers and wraps just fine. We do very little but wool because my kiddos have eczema and need the breathability of wool all the time and they have perfectly normal wardrobes. Some say jeans are difficult over wool because of the bulk, which can be true for mainstream produced jeans, which is why I created my original design for cloth-friendly jeans several years ago.

Yes, we do onesies no problem, though we often need to size up to make room for the extra fluffy bottom. We also do wool onesies that are a top and a diaper cover like this one-

Where can you find baby shirts without matching pants?
There are MANY WAHM shops on HyenaCart and Etsy that make in-stock and custom tees and tops, and plenty that will do embellishments to match specific colorways for you to match your woolies perfectly.
If you're looking for mainstream, at the start of every season Target usually has Circo brand tees(not onesies) size 12 months and up that are usually in bold primary colors that are easy to match.
