Cheap and cute crochet
Crochet shorties, $7 ppd
These are GUC. I bought them used so I don't know who dyed the yarn or the base. It's a pretty amateur dye job as it led every time I washed it and even bled onto the white trim. It will also bleed onto a wet diaper, but it always washed out of my cotton. The yarn feels soft but sturdy and not too pilly, H - 20" R - 19" Leg - 14" roomy

First bump. I won't be offended by offers if you keep it reasonable.

Argh!! I keep looking and am so tempted, but I just don't know since all the methods I see for setting involve heat, and I am so afraid I will end up shrinking the wool

You can heat it without shrinking it. You just heat and cool slowly and don't agitate.
