Do you ever not buy because of the tag?

I had not thought of Herpes w/the name Simplex...until this thread And now I will probably always associate the two

I have found some names to be off-putting such that I have no desire to try the product, mudbutt is one in particular that sounds gross to me.

Tags not so much..but there are some names for diapers I hate. Like Pooters diapers..:shiver:

Haha yes! We actually live in the city, but all the shops around here that stock cloth are ritzy boutiques with no selection, so I do love.... The Shop Which Must Not Be Named.

Ha! I just moved here and haven't been there yet. Once I check them out I want to host a Cloth 101 class for my mom group.

I'm taking a marketing class right now, and am told it's VERY normal for people to resist buying because of the name, the tag, the logo, etc. I forgot if the #1 reason is the name or the color.

I sooooooooooooo didn't want to try Country Save Detergent because I didn't like the name or the box. Now I'm a CS evangelist because I know their detergent is awesome but their branding is very unappealing to many of us.

I find the new tags on flats and prefolds to be intensely annoying, but it's what is necessary for CPSIA compliance; diapers must have lot numbers.
