Flats at night? Walk me through this :)

We do one large GMD flat folded like a prefold, lay a large Thirsties hemp insert on that, then another large GMD flat padfolded on top of that. Fasten it around my DD with Boingo's and a Disana wool soaker. She'll be 20 months next week and is a heavy wetter (still nurses 8+ times a day and I nurse her to sleep, eek!).

We use a cotton prefold + a padfolded bamboo flat.

So tonight I am trying two medium flats padfolded together under a OS cover. Am excited to get this to work and pitch the ratty fitteds

I decided to try flats tonight instead of my usual, workhorse with extra doubler and prefold layed into flip cover. Her bum was huge! Tonight I'm using imagine bamboo flat origami with gmd cotton doubler. I so hope it works for us. We cosleep and my 3mon old prefers to nurse all night. Here's to not waking up wet.

What kind of stinky? Ammonia? Or what? Do you normally have problems with stink at night?

I use a bamboo flat (imagine bamboo flat) at night and have been for the last month and haven't had a single bit of stink. I love my bamboo flats for night time!

I get ammonia way worse w/ wool covers than PUL at night...
I used two medium flats padfolded together and it worked great! I think I could get by with one medium and one small even. We are getting over the stomach flu here though so DD2 didnt pee as much so will keep w/ the two mediums until I know for sure or will just chance it w/ a small and medium

I know! We are simplifying our stash as much as possible and I have so many flats and they are so versatile I just love them! I am happy happy
