Re: Are you the primary breadwinner?

I am, but neither of us will be able to stay home permanently when our LO arrives in June. It's hard knowing that it's not even an option! We would lose nearly 2/3 of our income if I stayed home I would be supportive if DH wanted to stay home, but it doesn't make much sense financially!

Re: Are you the primary breadwinner?

We are pretty matched in earning, DH earns more with overtime. I hold down the household, and I have far better insurance than his work does and a pension so I need to keep my job!

Re: Are you the primary breadwinner?

Yup! My husband is a student and won't be working until he graduates (dear May, PLEASE hurry!). Previous to that, I was a single mom and thus yes, again, the primary breadwinner. Before THAT, I was in a very abusive marriage and was also the primary breadwinner except for I think a few months total in the 5 years because I was off of work with one of our babies? I can't even fathom what it must be like to be a SAHM! All I know is I'd take naps, for sure.

Re: Are you the primary breadwinner?

Yes. I am finally in a position where I make great money, and would love to just stay home with my kid. Trying to find a way to make it financially if I go part time, but my salary is just so nice right now. Stress level however is through the roof.

Yes. My husband is a stay-at-home dad. So I'm the breadwinner, so to speak. He's done an excellent job with the kids, so it has worked out well. And I love my job, so that helps too.

Re: Are you the primary breadwinner?

I am a WOHM and my husband is a SAHD. I make more money as a nurse than he does. He is ex-military going to school on his go-bill at night while I go to grad school and work during the day.
