Re: Do you buy "seconds" or "irregular" diapers?
I've bought a few and have been happy.
depends on where they come from, I think.

Re: Do you buy "seconds" or "irregular" diapers?
I bought seconds from the blueberry clearance sale and I could not find anything wrong with them. The covers even came with a piece of red tape marking where the irregularity was but I couldn't see it.

Re: Do you buy "seconds" or "irregular" diapers?
it would be worth asking before you purchase next time if they could tell why it was a second. (i've heard its occasionally a broken snap or something slightly less happy) but often its not even noticeable.

Re: Do you buy "seconds" or "irregular" diapers?
I have. Now I am very selective. I bought a diaper that was sold as a slight second due to "a minor cosmetic stitching flaw." What I received was an absolutely unusable piece of junk with far more than a cosmetic stitching flaw. Only very creative photography covered that up for the stock photos. That WAHM made it to my 'Do Not B/S/T' list in a hurry.

I will buy seconds from Cotton Babies in a heartbeat.I have never had an issue with them & I have bought their seconds for years. I have bought seconds from a few other companies and I don't like them as much. One company stood by their warranty and sent me a new diaper when the seconds elastic went in the first wash. However, it was a hassle to mail it off etc. So I won't buy seconds from them again. Another company I bought from, the flaws were noticable & I had some unraveling plus I hate how they mark their seconds. So unless it is diaper I really want from them, I won't do seconds from them either.

Our entire stash is seconds from cotton babies. They've all been great.
