How old have you nursed till? Who wins the prize for oldest kid they've nursed?

I know I am not the "winner" but I am just curious what others have done

4 years, 364 days.

I would not do it again however! LOL. DS1 has SPD and had major feeding issues (still does to some extent). He ate barely any solids until age 2. Breastmilk was a major nutrition source for him. I had to cut him off at some point so I finally just told him "when you are 5 that will be it" and he was OK with it, mostly. He was down to nursing at bedtime only by then anyway. DS2 is weaned, I think--he hasn't nursed in several days and that is A-OK with me since he is not a gentle nurser at all (DS1 was or we would never have gone that long).

4 years 7 months - she would still be nursing but I forced her to wean last month because I am pregnant with number 3 and couldn't imagine nursing a 5 year old, 3 year old and newborn

It's still sad but it was a good transition <3

2 is the most I have nursed to.

I would nurse until 3. Thats my limit. I have been pregnant and nursing for 10 years now and I am just feeling done.

16 months. I stopped nursing DD yesterday.

I probably could've gone a little longer, but she would constantly demand to be nursed, and if I didn't she would scream bloody murder until I either nursed her or left the room. It really put a strain on my relationship with her.

My oldest quit cold turkey on his 4th birthday. My other two both self-weaned by 3 years, 7 months.

26 months. But only weaned because I got pregnant again. Nursing started hurting so bad, my milk dried up and then I get very, very sick. I couldn't keep up nursing while throwing up so much that I have to get IV fluids. I'm wondering how long this LO will nurse since I'm not planning on having anymore babies.
