Convertable Car Seat

I'm about to make the switch from Infant to Convertable seat. What is a good seat that won't break the bank?

I need one too. We have liked the britax marathon but we got a good deal on it used from a friend. Not sure I can pay full price for one.

Do you mean the MyRide? It is a nice seat for the price. When installed forward facing, it is often VERY reclined, which some kids really hate. But that's the main complaint I've heard about it.
