Is this a good ruck?

Ok, my dd got jealous that I have been wrapping my newbie, so I tried a back carry for the first time today. Is this good? She seems to like it, but I'm feeling like I need a more supportive wrap. This should be a basic ruck, I think.

Thanks!

Okay, I played a bit more, and its a bit more comfy for me now, but I feel like her seat isn't as good now.

Looks good to me. You could get her higher to make it more comfortable. I like to wear DS high up where he can see over my shoulder. Also, you're right, she could have a better seat in the second set of pics. Just make sure to reach under and pull the fabric taut and then tuck under her bum and get knee to knee coverage.
Oh, and I prefer tibetan as well. PLus it just looks hella cool

The first picture her legs could have been in more of an M shape with her knees above her bum-I like to get my son on my back and then tuck the fabric up under him and between us covering knee to knee and then I will tighten the top rail on each side super snug. In the second set of pictures I think the tip rail could have been a little snugger. Don't pull the bottom rail-just the top and make sure the slack is out of the middle. After the top rail is snug check the seat again while the tails are in between your legs. Make sure it covers knee to knee (you can feel if she's in an M position at this time and make adjustments if necessary) and in between you. If you struggle getting a good seat try tucking the fabric up around her in the front of her pants before popping her on your back. After you check the seat a second time you can work with one side to do the over the leg and under the opposite and tuck between your legs to do the same with the other side. Hope this helps!

Sent from my iPod touch using DS Forum-sometimes my iPod thinks it's a better speller than me...
