Thanks to DiaperSwappers....
... I was able to get the pukey smell out of the dog's bed! The cover went in the wash but the cushion was not spared. I tossed it outside today, sprinkled baking soda on it, poured vinegar over the worst spots, and ran out the door with the kids. 6 hours later, I dusted the baking soda off and the dog's bed is stink AND stain free.
I NEVER would have thought of that before Diaper Swappers!! .... what crazy non-diaper problems have you been able to solve since DiaperSwappers ?? *** By the way, don't let the dog eat orange crayons if you can help it...

My dog has pooped the rainbow before when she got ahold of a box of crayons. Crayons don't digest!
I do random things with Dawn and vinegar. Like every time I am done sweeping and mopping I "strip" the broom and mop by soaking them in a pail of dawn. It keeps my broom and mop clean every time I use them. I use vinegar with my work clothes to help disinfect them. Also use vinegar to get pet smells out of the carpet. I'm not scared of bleach anymore. I've sunned out DDs nice dress clothes to get stains out. I can't remember the others, but I know CDing has basically helped me clean my house better

I have had so many laundry and cleaning "Aha!" moments after being on here. I've learned about sunning, the power of vinegar, the wonders of BacOut and just what is in laundry detergent. I have also used my diaper sprayer for things that weren't diaper related (great for rinsing other things).

Totally with you on the magical powers of dawn + vinegar! And I never ever would have discovered Bac put which has actually been more handy for my sensitive-tummy dog, Ive never used it on diapers lol.
Over the holidays my B/SIL came over with their kids. Their youngest had a massive, horrible blowout... It got everywhere. They were super embarrassed and apologetic and asked for a plastic bag to put everything in until they got home. We OTOH were not fazed at all. Then i realized OH they didnt bring a wetbag lol. We said, whatever just throw it all straight in the washer - we were going to run a load of dipes anyway. They were all, but the clothes have POOP on them!!!!!!! Haha. I think we are so relaxed about poop apparently.

I sunned out a poop stain from pajamas. DD is fully potty trained but has GI issues, and once in a blue moon has an accident. Luckily we had a feeling and she was in a pull up, but the PJs were not spared.

I also would not have discovered Bac Out (which we use for pet stains and cleaning litter boxes and our rats' cage).
I wouldn't have discovered mama cloth!
