Sigh
There is this mom in my sons class who got in my face because of the 35 truffles I made (vegan) he had 3 instead of one. My response he can't have anything else on the table. Her counter there is fruit (all hand cut by a parent and touching cheese) I mention he has ad allergies to a little girl asking me about it and the mom goes oh ya he's that kid. I wanted to deck her so bad. She obviously has no friggin clue how hard comments like that are on him and when I told the teacher I had to leave and she told everyone boxes would be opened at home the same parent glared at my son!!!!!!! He's 5 she's atleast 40

Re: Sigh
He is severely allergic to eggs and mildly allergic dairy (auto immune so his response is quick and awful)

Re: Sigh
I am so sorry! I just don't get why people have to make a scene about nothing. So your kid got three instead of one, um life goes on. Is it even worth a comment? I only make comments when someone is actively hurting my child otherwise that's life and life isn't fair. That's always a lesson my children can learn. It's too bad she couldn't be more sympathetic to what has to be a very difficult situation for a child and family.

Re: Sigh
I would suggest a conversation with the teacher or the administration. If your son has allergies, then the school needs to make sure that any food brought in will not cause a reaction in him. They need to set standards for bringing in treats, which likel means nothing homemade so that food labels can be checked.

Re: Sigh
What the heck who counts food on a kids plate? I bet she counts the sprinkles on each cupcake too.
If I saw a child who had his mothers food on his plate I would never dream of saying anything and I certainly wouldn't argue with his mother.

Re: Sigh
They are aware we made the decision to not make an issue of it. We provide his snacks and food for parties and he eats at
The allergy table. This is the first issue I have had

Re: Sigh
I'd be furious. If your kid ate all 35 she'd still have no right to say anything.
