My preemie was born at 28 weeks. He was put on the preemie formula. only different is it's higher cal. You can actually ix and formula to increase the cal. He was a good size being over 6lbs. I would think he was born 37 weeks at that weight. My son was 2#7oz at 28 weeks. My 34 weeker was 3#6oz and wasn't on the enfacare very long, then put her on the nutramagin. Also not sure on your state, but nys covers special formulas through insurance.
